Before our first purchase of Boer goats we researched blood lines and genetics striving for the best. We take extensive measures to make sure our meat goats have the best quality feeds and grazing pastures. In our research we have established a necessary balance of vitamins and minerals to produce healthy and productive meat goats because of this knowledge we test our soil and hay and custom mix their feed to meet our meat goats daily needs. Our goats teach us something new everyday; we take these lessons and find new ways to improve on everyday health and maintenance practices
Here at Dry Creek Ranch we use an intensive grazing system to reduce the need of chemical parasite control and to ensure a top quality natural feeding environment. Every month we rotate the herd, which helps in maintaining a green pasture and our animals are happy and healthy. We keep our herd on a strict vaccination and wormer program and also guarantee that our herd is CL tested and vaccinated. We are striving to be the best source for Boer Goats, Kiko Goats, Savanna Goats in Missouri.
We have incorporated top proven bloodlines into our commercial meat goat herd in order to produce higher average daily gains and higher grading. Our genetics include many Ennoblements, including Kaptein, Pistolero, Moulin Rouge, Scorpio,Top Gun, EggsKnight and Pipeline to name a few. Our top bloodlines also allow us to produce a perfect choice for show, breeding stock, FFA or even a 4H project. We have recently added 100% Fullblood Kiko Goats and 100% Fullblood Savanna Goats, which have also proven to be top producers with better health characteristics.
